Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and Glerora when you use the service. Please read them before creating an account.

Last updated: 26 September 2026

1. Who we are and who these terms apply to

Glerora is provided by Glerora (“we”). These terms apply to anyone who creates an account or uses the Glerora dashboard, API or embeddable assistant (“you”, the “customer”). Glerora is offered to businesses and professionals, not to consumers. If you accept these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. The service

Glerora lets you create AI assistants that answer questions from the content you provide - websites, help centers, documents and text - and embed them on your websites. Features and limits depend on your plan as described on the pricing page. We continuously improve the service and may change features, as long as the core functionality of your plan is not materially reduced during a paid period.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity in your workspace, including by members you invite.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
  • Fees already paid are not refunded for partial periods, except where required by law or where we terminate the service without cause.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods and will tell you at least 30 days in advance; you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the balance is settled.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add to Glerora and to the conversations and leads your assistants collect. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, index and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You confirm that you have the rights to the content you add, and that you only crawl websites you own or are authorised to use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Glerora to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, harassing or harmful;
  • impersonate others or mislead visitors about who they are talking to;
  • collect sensitive personal data through an assistant without a lawful basis;
  • attack, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the security or usage limits of the service, or crawl sites without authorisation.

We may suspend an assistant or account that breaches these rules, and will tell you why where possible.

7. AI-generated answers

Assistant answers are generated automatically by AI models from your content. They can be incomplete or wrong, even when sources are shown. You are responsible for the content your assistant draws on and for reviewing how it is used on your website, and you should not rely on it for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Where required, tell your visitors they are talking to an AI assistant.

8. Data protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. For personal data of your visitors that we process on your behalf - conversations and leads - we act as your processor. A data processing agreement is available on request at hello@glerora.com. You are responsible for informing your visitors about the assistant, for example in your own privacy policy.

9. Availability and support

We aim to keep Glerora available and reliable, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime unless agreed separately in writing. Maintenance, third-party outages (such as hosting or AI providers) and events outside our control may cause interruptions. Support is provided by email at hello@glerora.com.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law provides otherwise. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable when the contract was made. In all other cases, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

11. Termination

You can stop using Glerora and delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate your account with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. After termination, your workspace data is deleted; export anything you need before then.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
